At Shiv Parvati Matrimony, we strive to provide the best matrimonial services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our premium membership plans.

1. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • You request a refund within 7 days of purchase
  • You have not used any premium features (viewing contacts, sending messages, etc.)
  • There was a technical error resulting in duplicate payment
  • The service was not delivered due to technical issues from our end
  • You were charged incorrectly or for a plan you did not authorize

2. Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be provided if:

  • More than 7 days have passed since the purchase date
  • You have accessed or used premium features (viewed contact details, sent messages, etc.)
  • You have contacted or received contact from other members
  • You found your match and no longer need the service
  • You are dissatisfied with the quality or quantity of profiles
  • You created multiple accounts or violated our Terms of Service
  • Your account was suspended or terminated due to policy violations
  • You changed your mind after using the service

How to Request a Refund

Include your registered email, phone number, transaction ID, payment date, and reason for refund

Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days

Receive Decision

You will be notified via email about the approval or rejection of your refund request

Information Required for Refund Request

  • Full name as registered on the account
  • Registered email address and phone number
  • Membership plan purchased
  • Transaction ID / Payment reference number
  • Date of payment
  • Detailed reason for requesting refund
  • Bank account details (for processing refund)

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Review Period

3-5 business days to review and approve/reject the refund request

Processing Time

7-10 business days to process approved refunds

Bank Credit

Additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account (depending on your bank)

Note: Total refund processing time may take up to 15-20 business days from the date of approval.

5. Subscription Cancellation Policy

Auto-Renewal Cancellation

  • You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation must be done at least 48 hours before the renewal date
  • After cancellation, you can continue using services until the current period ends
  • No refund will be provided for the remaining period of an active subscription

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from account settings. Please note:

  • Account deletion does not automatically cancel auto-renewal subscriptions
  • No refund will be provided for unused subscription period
  • All your data will be permanently deleted within 90 days
  • You can cancel auto-renewal before deleting your account if needed

6. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds. Refunds, when approved, are processed for the full amount paid. This means:

  • No pro-rated refunds for unused subscription periods
  • No partial refunds if you used some premium features
  • The entire subscription amount is either refunded or not refunded based on eligibility criteria

7. Payment Gateway Issues

Duplicate Charges

If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error:

  • Contact us immediately at support@shivparvatimatrimony.com
  • Provide transaction details and bank statement
  • We will initiate a refund for the duplicate charge within 24-48 hours
  • Full refund will be processed without the 7-day waiting period

8. Failed Transactions

If money was deducted from your account but the membership was not activated:

  • Wait for 24 hours as the transaction may be pending
  • Check your email for payment confirmation
  • If membership is still not activated after 24 hours, contact support
  • We will either activate your membership or process a full refund
  • Provide transaction screenshot and details for quick resolution

9. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision:

  • You can appeal the decision by emailing legal@shivparvatimatrimony.com
  • Provide detailed explanation and any supporting documents
  • Our senior management will review the appeal within 7 business days
  • The decision made after appeal review will be final

10. Modifications to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will notify existing premium members via email about significant changes to this policy.
